Behind Bracken is a fine jewellery brand based in Leith, Edinburgh. All pieces are responsibly made and designed to be worn and loved everyday. Created in small batches using traditional goldsmithing techniques, we embrace the natural imperfections of the handmade.
Behind Bracken was created by Ashley Lovie in 2017.
Design and quality
Our design inspirations range through myth, memory and the celestial combined with an appreciation for minimal design, heirloom jewellery and considered design for everyday wear.
Using traditional goldsmithing techniques that include lost wax casting, forging and stone setting, each piece is created from a handmade master model or built entirely by hand at the bench.
